USRowing Junior Rower of the Year Rebecca Burns has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the Washington State University women's rowing program beginning in the fall of 2012, head coach Jane LaRiviere announced Thursday.

The Washington State University women's rowing team concluded its fall season in exciting fashion Sunday at the 31st annual Head of the Lake Regatta. The Cougars garnered the top spot in the collegiate junior varsity eight class and defeated fellow Pac-12 rival Washington in four of five matchups.
