Softball. Upset Minded Huskies Return To Columbia, Mo.

The Huskies will now head to the Super Regionals for the ninth-straight year (since the tournament format changed in 2005) and look for their 11th trip to the Women's College World Series and first since 2010.

Softball. Walker’s No-Hitter Clinches Super Regional Berth

It was another great pitching performance from the Husky pitching staff on the weekend, and specifically Bryana Walker, as the junior threw her second career no-hitter in an 8-0 win in five innings over No. 20/23 Hawai'i.

Softball. Huskies Edge By Vikings In NCAA Opener

A sacrifice fly by Kaitlin Inglesby in the fifth drove in Jennie McNeill (Simi Valley, Calif.) as the winning run in a tight NCAA opening 2-1 victory over Portland State on Friday night at Husky Softball Stadium.

Softball. Five Huskies Earn All-Region Honors

Five Washington softball student-athletes were named to the All-Pacific Region team on Thursday voted on by the regions coaches. It is the most honorees for the Huskies on a region team since 2011.

Softball. Wright Named Pac-12 Defensive Player Of The Year

Senior Shawna Wright became just the second Husky in school history to be named the conference Defensive Player of the Year, earning the honor on Wednesday from the Pac-12 coaches. A total of eight Huskies, including Wright, made the All-Pac-12 first, second, honorable mention or All-Freshman team.

Softball. Seattle Regional Set To Begin Friday

Teams are beginning to arrive and prepping for the 2013 NCAA Seattle Regional Friday-Sunday at Husky Softball Stadium. With the No. 11 overall seed in the tournament the Huskies moved up to No. 11/9 in the national polls Tuesday.

The 2013 NCAA Softball Tournament Field was announced Sunday night and the Huskies earned the No. 11 overall seed and the right to host the NCAA Regionals Friday-Sunday.
