University of Washington men's soccer is excited to again this year have the opportunity to send five players to participate on the Washington Crossfire's PDL team. The PDL is the top developmental men's league in North America.

UW finished 12-4-2 overall in 2011 and 7-3-0 finishing second in the Pac-12. The Huskies barely missed out on the NCAA Tournament and saw four guys get drafted by MLS teams.

Redshirt freshman Thomas Spragg (Drury, New Zealand) made his Husky debut in Saturday's spring opener, scoring the game-winning goal vs. Portland at Husky Soccer Field in a 1-0 victory.
