Thursday Training Cancelled
The inclement weather that has stricken western Washington over the last few days already caused the Sounders FC to shift their first training session of 2012 from their training grounds at Starfire to the indoor practice facility at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center on Thursday.
Concern over field conditions, though, gave way to concern over road conditions on Thursday morning and head coach Sigi Schmid decided to cancel the first training session of the year due to hazardous weather and travel conditions.
They will resume as scheduled on Friday at VMAC.
