Johansson and Sweden top Bahrain with Qatar up next
Sounders FC right back Adam Johansson played 90 minutes in Sweden's 2-0 win over Bahrain on Wednesday and will prsumably see more playing time on Monday when they fcae Qatar.
All of the scoring came in the second half as Tobias Hysen of Sweden's IFK Goteborg - Johansson's former team - scored in the 58th minute and Oscar Hiljemark added another in the 81st minute in his National Team debut.
Former Sounders midfielder Erik Friberg came on as a sub in the 86th minute for his first appearance for Sweden, too. It was Johansson's tenth international match.
Sweden will face Qatar at 5 am Pacific on Monday and Johansson is slated to join the Sounders FC in Arizona when the team begins their next phase of training camp in Casa Grande on January 30.
