Cast your ballot Sunday in the Sounders FC GM vote

History will be made at CenturyLink Field on Sunday, as the Sounders FC will open up the voting booths for their Alliance members - consisting of season ticket holders and those who paid the membership fee - to cast their ballots, deciding whether or not the team should retain general manager Adrian Hanauer.

The in-stadium vote begins on Sunday at 4:30 pm Pacific Time – 90 minutes before the Sounders kick off against the Portland Timbers in a crucial Cascadia Cup match at CenturyLink Field.Four voting booths will be set up around the stadium for fans who present their email address and account ID, which is located at the bottom of every season ticket or on the membership card.

Alliance members can also vote online beginning at noon on Sunday.

Voting will end December 7 with the results being announced at the club’s annual Business Meeting on December 13. For a valid election, a minimum of 10,000 votes is required.
