Deadline day in the European transfer window brought on a last-minute move for FC Dallas as they sent midfielder Brek Shea to Stoke City on a transfer to the mid-table Premier League Club.

That was hardly the biggest name in MLS to make a move though, as David Beckham, who left the LA Galaxy after a second consecutive MLS Cup championship, joined Paris Saint-Germain.  Beckham, 37, had 18 goals and 40 assists over 98 matches in MLS regular season play over six seasons with the Galaxy.  He also had eight assists in 11 playoff matches.

Beckham joins a PSG side that tops the table in the French Ligue 1 at 13-3-6.

Shea, 21, heads to Stoke City, who is 10th in the EPL at 6-6-12.  Shea had 19 goals and 14 assists in 98 MLS matches over five seasons.  His best year was 2011, when he had 11 goals and four assists to earn MLS Best XI honors.

Players are still available to move to MLS, as the FIFA transfer rules rely on the buying team.
