Seahawks-49ers flexed into primetime

The Seahawks’ Dec. 23 rematch with the NFC West-leading 49ers at CenturyLink Field has been flexed into the primetime spot, the league announced today.

The kickoff is now set for 5:20 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on NBC (KING/5 in the greater Seattle area). The game was scheduled for a 1:25 p.m. start, but now replaces the Chargers-Jets game that originally was set for the NBC game.

Before that, however, the 49ers (9-3-1) play the Patriots in New England this Sunday, while the Seahawks (8-5) will play the Bills in Toronto.
