On this date: David Behring named club president

A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Jan. 19:

1993: David Behring, son of owner Ken Behring, is named team president. Also, Tom Flores is named general manager/coach and Mike Allman, who had been player personnel director, is named to oversee the pro and college personnel departments.

1999: Mike Sheppard is named quarterbacks coach on Mike Holmgren’s staff.
