Flag Day comes to Seahawks Way
The road that leads to Virginia Mason Athletic Center – Seahawks Way – was lined with 12th Man flags this morning when coaches, players and other employees arrived at work.
The elves – or tw-elves, if you will – who lined the street with roughly 100 small 12th Man flags and half a dozen larger 12th Man flags wish to remain anonymous. But the players appreciated the gesture.
“It surprised me,” fullback Michael Robinson said. “But I definitely like it.”
The gesture was to support the team as it prepares for Sunday’s playoff opener against the Redskins at FedEdField in Landover, Md.
