Carpenter injured

Right tackle James Carpenter, the Seahawks’ first-round draft choice, went down with an injury to his knee in practice this afternoon.

He is scheduled to have a MRI tonight, and the team should have results tomorrow.

After Carpenter was injured in the pass-rush drill, Breno Giacomini finished practice at right tackle.

The line already lost rookie right guard John Moffitt to a season-ending knee injury in Sunday’s game against the Ravens. He has been replaced in the starting lineup by Paul McQuistan.
