W. Soccer. Davidson Helping To Save Lives In Haiti

Fifth-year senior Kari Davidson has accomplished a lot in her young life. She has been the Husky starting goalkeeper for two seasons, helped lead the team to the Elite 8 in 2010, traveled to Brazil with the team in 2009 and completed an internship with Nike in Portland.

Washington's great pole vault tradition added another big chapter today, as freshman J.J. Juilfs became the first ever Pac-12 Champion in the event, highlighting a big first day for the Husky men in Eugene.

Washington's Jacob Lamb was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI, but it wasn't enough as No. 11 UCLA baseball team beat the Huskies, 11-3, Saturday at Husky Ballpark.

The Husky men's tennis team bowed out of the NCAA Championships today in the second round, unable to topple seventh-seeded Pepperdine on the Waves' home Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center.

The pain Mackenzie Argens had dealt with in her knee turned out to be a sign of a much larger issue - an ACL that needed reconstruction. But her willingness to play through the injury at season's end spoke a lot about her toughness and character.
